where i come from we dont twist around the letters, we just make a mess from grammar and spelling ^_^. Its fun and effective when you are having silly convos or trying to make a short comedy post.

Edit : forget it, the forum somehow can't accept some of the symbols.
Cos either the forum software or the web browser tries to interpret the symbol as a command. Use escape code if you really must use 1337 here.

Hehe, l33t speak sucks. You gotta love the 1337 7r0uZ0RZ item in kingdom of loathing : the description is "This is a p41r of 7r0uZ0RZ that totally 0wnZ0r j00. You're embarrassed at the grammar, but fortified by the 1337ness of 'em." brilliant

You lose 3 dexterity for wearing it, but gain good armour
Too set in his ways to ever relate
If he could set that aside, there'd be heaven to pay
But weathered and aged, time swept him to grave
Love conquers all? Damn, I'd say that area's gray

The 'pwn3ge' collection of pictures is also great. I often nearly wet my pants watching them.

Finally an explanation of what this mumbo jumbo i've been seeing

The best place to use l33t speak is in a brief expression of excitement, when you are just playing around or in a supreme example of your geekly prowess.
wheee , that's fun
next thing you know, people'll be communicating through punctuation marks ..

who can understand that..(hopefully no one)

1337 rocks!
I've just recently started learning it properly, and sometimes when I say something to someone in 1337 they're like ... what the hell?!??
LOL I feel so priveledged to know it.
"So many thoughts running through my head, I know what you feel, I know what you dread; When a room's filled with laughter, when a room's filled with lies, you're the only one I know that's in disguise..."
