Help needed at fourth level Watcher's Keep

I need help here.

I have the three oils (purple, red and blue) been to Githyanki and Illithid area, killed the Dragon (annoying beast). What do I need to do. The dragon said the only way to break the glass, is some thing that the Illithid have. Can't find that: where is it? I also can't find the proper colour of the flames anywhere...HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!!

the illithid cave is in the north part of the main room. oposite of the gith lair.

If you look in the rooms to the East and West of the machine in the middle of this level you will see funny shaped colored areas on the floor. There should be three of them in each room. And they should be one of three colors (Red, Blue, Purple). If you go to the room w/ the torches and the door that cant be opened. And light the torches to match the colored areas on the floor, the door should open. Theres something in there that will let you open the machine up, and then progress to the next level.
