Brilliant.
You only have to worry when he talks back.

Interested in really good movies, I came back to this thread to add to my own list of "must sees" Let's see...Naked Lunch and Ghost In The Shell look like a couple woth looking into! The Man Who Wasn't There sounds familiar, I may have seen it already but don't remember (brain damaged...it affects my memory, not to mention getting older doesn't help lol) but American Psycho looks like it would be something beyond my taste completely.

Have you seen "Twelve Monkeys" starring Bruce Willis, Madeline Stowe and Brad Pitt? Bruce Willis plays a convict, sent back in time to stop a devastating plague, but is sent too far back and is hospitalized as insane. Brad Pitts performance in this one is phenomenal.

How about "Snatch" (Brad Pitt again...we just saw this on cable a couple of weeks ago)

Here is a link to Check Out Quills. If this link takes you to a page with Plot Details as a headline, ignore the text and click on the link to the left that goes to "main details" where you can get an overview of the movie without knowing too much before you watch it. The (more) link in the User Comments will take you to the bottom of that same page for a review of sorts without spoiling the story.

This is a cool site. I esp like it that they list taglines (notable quotes) and if you are interested enough in certain actors, a full movie biography in the links to their names.

Have you seen many Johnny Depp movies? He's an excellent actor. One of my favs as far as being able to play a variety of roles and making them believable.

Just a note:
I talked to my son a little while ago on the phone and the subject came around to the movie "Quills". He hasn't seen it because he had heard "its dirty". It does have a few adult-oriented scenes in it so you might want to make sure your parents know you're watching it so that they don't walk in on it and freak out on you. I didn't really think about that when I recommended it, its just a good/strange movie!

LOL That is a good one!
I never considered it so much "porn" (even soft) as much as I did just plain "freakish".
I did tell my son to go ahead and check it out. I think he'll like it.

nah, thats ok. you seen Requiem: For A Dream? it had a couple of adult scenes, some with Jennifer Connely(A Beautiful Mind) and 1 with Marlon Wayans(Scary Movie 1; 2). Right, anyway, ive seen that movie 5 times
hmm, ive advertised Requiem about 4 times in IW.
