What items do you think are best for each type of character? (ex: bard, thief, dual class characters, etc.) I'm just wondering, cuz I have no clue what items I should assign to who.

Hey! I found some people that read comics too?

And you character equipment lessee: Spoilers!

Thieves: Use the shadow armour or the +5 leather you get from umar hills
I use wakizashis and short swords and bow to stay in character...Use boots of speed, very useful for a thief. Obviously all thief rings are useful to thieves too! And cloak of non-detection for reasons that are apparent.

Ranger: I like to use Katanas/longswords and maces for foes like golems and such...funny i never use a bow...Any armor is fine for them but leather/studded leather if you want to be able to use thier stealth..

I dun play any other classes much, sorry!

Hi Skye!

For mages and clerics: Staffs and slings are the best! You can find at least one good staff and buy one in the Adventurer's Mart. Slings are the same, at least one or two good ones to be found and a couple for sale!

For fighters/rangers/paladins/etc: I like Axe's and Hammers myself. Don't know why but I have never gotten into swords that much

Thieves: A must for a thief is a good bow!

I know I only answered for weapons, but the rest you just have to play around with and see what gets the best AC and bonuses!

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

My personal choices for thieves (current AC = -6. My man is a Fighter/Thief wearing Helm of Balduran which gives +1 AC)

The Nights Gift +5 Armour. (+20% hide in shadows)
Gloves of Pickpocketing. (+20% to pickpockets)
Mercykiller Ring. (Bonus CD item. +20% Set Snares. +20% Hide in Shadows. +20% Move Silently)
Ring of Gaxx. (+2 AC and other benefits)
Cloak of Non Detection.
Boots of Speed. (Increases movement rate)
Celestial Fury Katana. (Can Backstab for in excess of 150 HP sometimes and is a fast weapon)

Add a bow, necklace and girdle/belt of your choice here.

It's bleedin dark down here, slippery too.
Man, that's a pisser.
