Hi,
After reading somewhere that shields are pretty useless Ive equipped my fighters with an extra weapon, but I havnt noticed any difference in combat. The combat dialogue still says 'FIGHTER hits with MAIN WEAPON' Do I need to do something else other than equip the 2nd weapon?
I accepted the 1st samurai quest to deliver the dragon arrow but when I did all my characters inventories were full, and I didnt get the arrow? How can I get it?
Thanks in advance!

once you are Lv4 in the fighters guild (or Lv3 in the Bushi-Guild) you'll be able to learn 'Doublestrike'. Once you learned it you'll be able to improve your ability '2nd Weapon'.

Torin Arrow quest.

I don't believe you. All your characters Inventories were full ? And after the first of your char's got the arrow - you did not think : 'oh, he gives me an arrow, so i should better sell some things' but to decide to get the quest for the next char ?! Sound a bit unlikely.

Anyway try to get a Char who isn't, in the Bushi guild and let him do the quest.

If your inventory was indeed full, then truly you have a big problem. You can try selling some stuff and going back to the Bushi dojo to see if something good happens (I doubt it). Otherwise, you can still get around this problem by doing either of the following:

Work towards having a ranger with fletchery skill so that the ranger can duplicate a dragon arrow. However, the ranger can only learn fletchery is he is level 5 in the warrior guild. This means the ranger must complete four of the following five quests: talk to Shinwiki, retrieve sword of mastus, free Gliebott spirit in Shurugeon castle, deliver letter to Stout guard, kill Doshi-Gin. Then learn the fletchery skill, join the bushi dojo guild (accept a role change into a samurai/monk) and accept the deliver arrow to Torin quest, equip a bow and the dragon arrow, and once the ranger as duplicated the arrow, then you can give the arrow to your earlier forgetful character!

OR..

Have another character accept the deliver dragon arrow to Torin. Go ahead and deliver arrow to him. Save the game. Hopefully you have a character with a reasonable pickpocket skill (probably level 5 or higher), and have that character pickpocket the arrow. Then give the stolen arrow to the first character and have him give the arrow to Torin who is none the wiser..

I recommend doing the first option because fletchery will also enable you to amass huge amounts of money especially if any of your characters has blessings and artifact of spirit or fiend spell..

Welcome to the board, chainsquaw!!!

Xignal or I can hack you an dragon arrow. I don't have the code off hand but that shouldn't be too difficult to get.

The easiest solution is to have another character accept this quest. You can then try (save first) to pick pocket the arrow back from Torin to have the other character complete the quest. Lots of possibilities.

Hey,
Thanx for the suggestions.
I think getting another character to accept the quest sounds easiest.
The reason my character inventories were all full was I had just finished the serpent temple dungeon...I was totally loaded with goodies and didnt have a single slot available...not even for a 'waffer theen meent'
Oh and this was the 1st time I had come across this quest so I didnt know he was going to give me somthing! hehe
