LOL Melusine the peacekeeper, good idea though. Now, let's all hold hands and sing: Hand in hand kameraden
hand in hand voor feyenoord 1
geen woorden maar daden
levert feyenoord 1

Just not the one about smelly black socks OK????!!!!!

But seriously, I have thought about this many times before. People just love to have a story to tell. And to experience it first hand is an added bonus.

I always scare myself when there's some sort of disaster. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just being honest. I kinda get really excited when there's a war, or a major tragedy like Sep 11. A big part of me thinks how horrible it is, and feels for all the people that are involved, but there is a small part of me that gets excited about something so big happening.

It's like history is being created right before your eyes. And by simply existing, we are all suddenly affected by something as a world population, and not just a community social structure.

I hope no-one thinks I'm a sicko!

Avi.

Nope, you're not a sicko, i have that feeling too. I had it with operation Desertstorm, the war in the Balkan, and on sept. 11 i had it again. You ARE wittnesing history in the making, no matter how awfull it is. I think most people are glued to the tv when things like this take place.

I agree. Makes life more real and more valuable by having a comparison.

And causing a large queue along the way... People are strange indeed.
