Some of this is funny, some is rude and some is just plain stupid.
Of course the guy is a loser, otherwise we would not have this site to laugh at or his victims to feel sorry for. I sent it to all those people I know and love who will actually get a kick out of it...suprising how many there actually are! Moni ------------------ |

Bahamut, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks about it this way...I sure felt insecure posting an opinion so obviously different from the rest.
Saz, after reading some more, I totally agree with you... Some comments are funny, but like you, I can't stand the really insulting ones. Don't see what's so clever about it. I can see what you say about the jesters, but that would be fun because the "insultee" is "in on the joke" or how do you call it? The guy on this site is just being insulting at other people's expense, whereas it *is* possible to insult but allow room for repartee, thus making it bearable for the one the comment is directed at. ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

Sorry to hear how it got to you like this melusine, but frankly I had quite a bit of a chuckle out of this.
I understand, its sad - and I think you're right about the guy being such a lowlife and getting pleasure out of humiliating other people. But think - if those people ALLOWED him to do that to them, for the sake of a damn chuckle: doesn't that make 'them' losers as well? In which case why hasn't anyone complained about the site or sent any abuse emails? See? They're all working together - HE probably paid most of them to do those things like the stupid neighbour who dressed up. That's life sometimes = money over laughter. It's not my piece of cake, but cake is cake and I laughed just like anyone would've expected me to - whether it was moral or not. Morally speaking.........I would shut the site down. Period. Just like all the other disgusting forms of rape pictures and pornography on the internet. ------------------ Greetings Mortals. My Name Is Wah, Arch Lich Wah. |

Moni, those links weren't too bad actually, the comments were not cruel, more like witty (only too long, boooring.... they needed to be snappier)
Anyway Wah, the thing I object to is the comments that went "this guy should be dead" "I'd like to twist a broken bottle in your face" "I will pray that you'll die" and all the derogatory comments about homosexuals. I find that very very distasteful and horrible. I mean, what the f*ck is funny about telling people you want to maim them for life??? This guy can do whatever he bloody well feels like, but as soon as people start making that kind of statements, I start feeling cold inside ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

well, if it is a good process of acceptance nonetheless... if it means the person is content and happry with himself-content enough to be insulted like that, fine. but nonetheless, most peeps or peeps like me would just say, I dont give a shit.
Melusine, i have been up and down and all around, and i know how it feels to be goofed around like that. i havent really gotten too much of experience but ican tell it hurts ------------------ You know what happened. (Pats Melusine on the back.....conjours five more hands to pat melusine on theb back.....)
I know, its that same kind of threatening tone you'd expect someone with a knife on the streets would say. "Gimme your f*cking money!!!" That kind of thing. I detest it but some people would actually get a kick out of seeing these things. I couldn't believe that myself: but its true - violence = laughter. The same "bad-ass" attitude that is tolerated but is avoided. We laugh in such situation because we do not want to be laughed upon ourselves. We laugh because we do not want to feel "awkward". It's what's known as Majority Influence. Even thought there's nothing funny about getting maimed in life. ------------------ Greetings Mortals. My Name Is Wah, Arch Lich Wah. |
