Charlie,
Thanks mate got here ok. Love it here. Staying at Maida Vale for a few days. Stealth, I'd love to head up North. Scotland resonates to a similar chord in my soul. How long will I be here? That depends on whether I can earn pounds or not. The Aussie dollar is totally f***** compared to the Pound Sterling (1£ = AD$3), but ok against things like the Deutschmark. I'm hoping to hang around for a while though Gabriel, no worries, let's check out Donuts pub over the weekend, maybe you, me, Charlie and Donut. If it doesn't happen we'll just make it another time. Oh and for Zors sake one of us should bring a camera. Would you believe I don't carry one? My memory works photographically and I've found sometimes a photo takes away from the mental picture. The brain starts relying on the photo instead of actual memory. Besides, my wife was a photo taking machine. So I guess I slipped into a non photo-taking habit. See you soon guys. |

Hi Yorick.
Donuts pub is known to me (I think.) I have a few things to catch up on over the weekend (too much mid week BG) but I'm sure I can find the time to buy you a pint and shake your hand. When was you thinking...Sat' or Sun'? Afternoon or evening? Let us know what time suits you and I'll work around it. Best wishes. |

Hi Charlie/Yorick
I'm going to see the Arsenal play on Saturday & will be in the pub from about 7 pm. Otherwise anytime on Sunday. The pub is opposite Enfield Chase Station. |

Trains run to Enfield Chase Station from King's Cross and Finsbury Park (every 30 mins).
By tube you can go to Oakwood on the Piccadilly line. Cross the road and get a 121 or 307 bus to the Enfield War Memorial. Walk back up the hill. Everyone welcome - sorry I haven't got a camera. |
