I just finished clearing out the North Forest (killing soldiers and fire giants) and traded with the Merchant there. I now am faced with a choice of going to:
- The Marching Mountain
- The Forest of Mir
- The Siege Camp
- Watcher's Keep

Any ideas/suggestions what to do next? Of the first three, which advances the storyline best? Can Watcher's Keep (which I think is optional) be done anytime, and do people find it's worthwhile?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, can Watcher's Keep be done any time? Any suggestions on what type of foes you face there (i.e., spells to memorize, potions to buy, etc.).

If you want to do WK (I headed there immediately after the Mir forest), there are *plenty* monsters of various tyoes, depending on your level. I've fought plenty of demons (all sorts), wraiths and shades, elementals, a few golems - and I'm only half-way through! (Still trying to map out level 3).

The fights are tough - make sure you have restorations (scrolls or memorised spells) and resurrection (rod or spells) - you'll need it! Area effect spells like ADHW, hogh-level summons (like deva) will be useful.

You'll likely take quite some time to go through it - the nearest equivalent I can think of in SoA would be the Asylum, in terms of puzzles and levels - except WK has more of everything.

Thanks, very helpful.

You used six mages in the maze?!?!?!?!?! The maze of "I can't cast a fishing pole"? With all those tanarri and baatzu running around?!?!?!?!?! I'm assuming the crazy fellow gave you all shallow graves at best? Your only chance would be to cast tensers trans. and black blade of disaster and run through real quick!

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.
