Whats going on??

three things I've noticed
1. When you defeat the lizards in Dragons eye and try to rescue the villagers - only Conlans son goes back to Kuldahar,
Why do the others stay in Dragons eye??
2. I resuced Ilmater priestess Eugina and when i went to the temple in Kuldahar shes still not there.
3. On returning to Kuldahar after the severed hand the villagers are still in dragons eye and nobody in the village says anything other than the monsters that had invaded ages ago?

Why is this? Is it a bug - i havent patched anything into the game.
Also upon giving orrick the Mythal book he says i deserve a reward - tells me i'll get some item and then NO RESPONSE OR LINK message comes up. He takes the book and i get nothing. Any ideas whats going on
I havent got to Dorns deep yet so please dont spoil anything up to this point

try to save your savegame into a folder and reinstall the game again, it might be bug.

I remeber the same thing happened to me, but i still managed to complete the game. The only problem that i can help you out with is your second; Priestess Eugina. She will be north east of the temple where you rescued her, standing by a spiraling staircase going into a depression in the floor. This is the next part of Dragon's eye and you have the option to go back up the staircase and pay for healing off the good preistess.

This area has quite a few snow trolls lurking around so stock up on plenty of fire weapons/ammo/spells

Yeah i rescuesd her completed the whole level bought healing off her. After i killed youxxmei she was gone and i assumed she be in kuldahar but the priests there say she hasnt returned???

It's not a bug in your game configuration, EvilColm, just a poor job of attention to detail on the game designers' part. After you rescue her, she remains near the entrance to the next level in cae you need healing. After you complete the Dragon's Eye area, however, she will simply disappear without reappearing anywhere else in the game.

The problem with Orrick, however, is a known bug and was fixed in one of the official patches.

I believe the patch you need is Icewind Dale Patch, v. 1.06. You can download it here

While this should fix the problem with Orrick, I'm not sure whether or not you'll see the result in your present game since you've already gotten to that point.
