I've got a real problem with my copy of Baldur's Gate. Everytime I start it up, and the main menu appears the only options available are "install" "view readme" "watch demos" and something else that I cannot remember. After installing the game, it all runs terrificly (a bit slow, but otherwise good) until the next time I wish to play it, when the options available are the same as before, and I have to install it again! Must I install it everytime I wish to play???? This is the second time I play BG after a long time, and I've never had this problem before...

PLEASE HELP!

/Kiyatha - Damstrel in distress

Yeah, I know... but there's almost always empty in there, so I takes ages before somebody answeres. But you're right, I will.

I take it your talking about the auto run. Find the folder where you installed BG too and double click baldur.exe, see if that works.

Clicking Baldur.exe in the folder where I installed the game doesn't work either... But thanks for the tip, though!

Well, the main menu pops up, with the picture of Sarevok and the music and all that. The problem is, that the only options available are "install" "view readme", "view demos" and "exit". This is after I've installed it!
