Been playing this game for a while and have found out that in the area I live there is a lack of people playing this game, so I figured I'd try my luck in here, do any of you play??
For those that have no clue what I'm talking about. The official homepage: http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/news.htm

There should be a new release this summer.
The Livung Rule Book is V. 2.0 now. The game is version 4 (methinks), but most people play number 3.

I play still, occasionally. Got an Undead team... just pound people until theres no-one left. Then pick up the ball (maybe on the third try) and walk very slowly to the opposite end zone. A fun team, if you like mindless violence rather than actual skill and tactics.

I coach an undead team myself, although with next to zero activity in my own region I haven't had many oppertunities to play. The upside is that almost noone I play is more experienced, the downside is that the difference is not all that great

Wow... coincedence... I'm also an undead player, although my team actually had something vaguely resembling some tactics.
Early blocks with my vampire and mummies, some wights, one who over the coutrse of time got an extra speed point, and three ghouls, a runner, a runner/catcher and a thrower. Also, a horde of mindless creeping corpses/skeletons. I use to play it year ago, as I got into it at a fairly young age,but I haven't played for years unfortunately.

I guess you guys haven't even tried the new teams then!?
And I spit in the general direction of you undead players, if it wasn't for your mummies, the team would be worthless. (part sarcasm, part truth)

'If it wasn't for the mummies, the Undead team would be useless.' Hoo, boy... one thing I've had hammered into me by defeat after defeat; you don't have to block anyone to win a game of Blood Bowl. It's a good thing you're not playing the zen masters I have to contend with.
Humans rule, btw. Properly played, they're unstoppable.
