Looks like military funerals are going to be hosting a lot of insanity in the future.

It's a start... so let the trolls from Kansas argue the constitutionality (which they will) in front of the Supreme Court, and then let the rest of the states modify their rulings to extend it to the remaining cemeteries.

Yuck! Another loss of liberty. Thanks, Congress, forget the debt, don't do anything about overspending or the war, but pass another stupid frikkin rule limiting free speech.

Look, I HATE, yes, HATE, these funeral protestors. But, the answer isn't another stupid frikking law. The answer is getting fellow Americans off their fatass couches. We don't need Congress policing these funeral protestors, we need members of the community, with baseball bats, beating the snot out of them.

The President himself thinks a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage is a good idea, and he said so publicly. Can you blame this group for its opinions? 50 some years ago, racism was pretty rampant in our society, and it didn't stop until the government sent a clear message that it isn't cool. Until they do the same for homophobia, I'm afraid we'll still see lunatics like these. The solution here isn't to cut free speech rights... Baseball bats might be a valid solution, but I think the Patriot Riders also have a good thing going. We need to see more communities coming out in support of mourners.

Bottom line is folks on the internet figured out how to take care of trolls like these long ago... deprive them of what they're seeking, which is attention, and they'll go away. Sometimes it's hard to ignore them, and that's where the Patriot Guard Riders come into play. They can ignore the trolls more easily, and can make it easier for the bereaved to ignore them as well.

I agree with Timber - if enough people get off their butts to do something about it, something will happen. I don't encourage the baseball bats, but I certainly do understand them...

Until people do get off their butts, laws will help to alleviate the situation. They won't fix it, but they will help.
