about Raskalion and the guy that was supposed to go kill him.... I have been to the lava pits (unfortunately did not have the skill needed for the pickaxe). So I thought that i would waste time and gain experience for finding that raskel.

Where are the levers to change the tracks???

THere are levers down the west tracks and another set down the east tracks. Check Xignal's maps:

They can be difficult to find!

Are you actually on the second job for Scanthril? If you don't have the quest to kill Raskalion - you will not get credit for it with Scanthril and you will not get the assassin's dagger.

I probably would have killed him and not get the dagger....thanks for asking that question.....

How upset I would have been Had I gone thru with it....

I think I will go ahead and try and find the guy who was supposed to kill raskal.

That guy was the burnt body where you found the writ to enter the Stout Mines - go back and talk Scanthril (you've talked to him once to get that quest I hope). He's going to try and ditch you by sending you off to the Boogres Caves but ask him about another "JOB" instead.

That should get you the second half of the quest for the assassin's dagger!!

(This has got to be the most easily messed up of all the quests in the whole game. So many players have had trouble with this one because it is not obvious what you have to do and many players just presume that since Scanthril seems like such a bad rat that you could/should just off him right away.)

Yeah I talked to scathril again.......he said something about me not killing rask. so I am going back to find him. I asked him about a payment, now I know he was trying to set me up to go up north somewhere, I forgot exactly, but I just wanted to see what he would say. I think I teed him off, oh well I had fun with it anyways.

Ok if that guy was the guy near the chest with the writ, then who is the guy(burnt body) down by the healing waters???
