I just wanted to remind you all to make sure that you close all HTML tags in your posts before you post.
On some posts the marquee alternate tag is on just before the sig but there is no tag to close it. Everytime someone quotes you unless they know to delete the marquee alternate tag the tag applies to their entire post, and in some cases to the bottom of the forum page as well, so the copyright and the hits counter are affected by your tag. It substantially slows down loading of pages for some people. There's a good reason why HTML is not allowed in your sig - don't try to override it. Using HTML tags is totally fine IN your posts, but don't let it affect the rest of the page, ok? (I edited my earlier post to not name names here!) ------------------ [This message has been edited by Memnoch (edited 04-10-2001).] |
