Thanks for the link... I am always a bit leary of e-bay items. So far I've had some pretty good luck...like getting the entire Wizardry series up through Gold for a song. Of course I can't play my favorite Bane since I don't have an old 486 lying about but at least I have them in case someone decides to junk one that works.

I've got the site bookmarked and will peruse it at leasure (so I can talk my lovely, wonderful, beautiful wife into it .... think I layed that on a bit heavy?)

A few closing notes;

1. Some people have trouble, running high end cards (GeForce4) on lesser machines.

2. Mobo mfr's are starting to build boards, with AGP 8X. (raising the bar for video cards...which means, lower prices, for 'old' technology)

3. If you have to compromise...this is a great card...It comes with an OC utility, that is 100% supported, by the mfr.

...Look here

I am most pleased to announce the newest addition to my family. Arriving yesterday a beautiful PNY Technologies Verto GeForce Ti 4200 64MB DDR RAM video card. Motherboard and card are doing excellent together and recovery time is at the absolute minimum.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. My P3 is actually running both WW and W8 flawlessly! I wasn't able to quite talk fast enough to get the next card up with 128 MB RAM but I am very happy with the current performance!

Thanks again!

I'm sure that card will out live your puter...

The 'Only' way you can tell the difference, between that card and the Ti 4600...Is if you watch the numbers....And fps ain't that big a deal in RPG's.

Have Fun...

When I first got my Ti 4600, I was amazed at how good the spiders looked...it was almost a shame to kill them.....almost...

What a difference a Really good graphics card makes.

Grrr... I'm starting to get jealous. I feel another round of computer construction coming up in the next few months...

Congrats on an updated and obviously improved system. Now go out there and kill something, wouldja?
