what's really fun to watch is when one of the cyclist accidentally topples his bike over and all the bikes around him either run over him or flip over or something im not certain if anything like that has happened in the Tour De France but i'll tell you, things like that happen all the time in the states, they usually get caught on film by onlookers who just seem to WANT it to happen so they can send the vids into "Real TV" or something... Ahum. Yes, it does happen every once and awhile during the Tour de France, but I wouldn't call it "funny". At the speed they're riding, it's actually quite common that severe injuries are sustained... A few years back one of the riders even died when there was a massive fall downhill and the poor guy smashed with his head on a concrete pile. You may laugh all you want, but it's quite tragic actually.

No, it's not funny at all. I think it's a shame they're not made to wear helmets all the time, might make some difference

LOL I agree about basketball being a bit of a yawn, Groj . Some people think soccer's boring because they don't score enough, but I dislike basketball because they score too much! Scoring's not exciting in basketball, when a team misses a chance to score is the real action

I recall one moment that was looking kinda funny if you don't mind me saying so. It was on the last day of the tour on the Champs Elysees, all the cyclers were moving close to the sidewalk, and behind the fences a French cop didn't have a clear view, so he starts leaning over the fences with his head foreward, out of nothing comes a cycler and they smash their heads into eachother. I'm sure those two people feel different about it, but i thought it was funny !

You mean when Jalabert lost his entire set of teeth and had to be fed artificially in a hospital for months in a row, and Wilfried Nelissen was picked off half dead with a broken collar bone and was forced to stop for good later on? Or are you talking about another crash?

That's probably why bloopers and home video shows involving people falling over or otherwise injuring themselves are so popular huh?

I remember a couple of years ago a fan ran out in the middle of the road to take a picture and the cyclist couldn't get out of the way and collided into him. That wasn't funny

True... You're referring to Giuseppe Guerini? He did win that stage, on Alpe d'Huez even if I remember correctly.

Okies then... Crashes in the last stage, right? How about the one in which Dzamolidine Abduzjaparov literally crashed and was carried over the finish line on a brancard?
..Even though I don't think that's the one either... Drat, my memory is a sieve.
