As part of my SoA learning curve I just had Yoshimo down 5 potions of master thievery and go on a stealing spree.

I am ashamed to say that I stole ALL of the scrolls from the Spell Store at the top of Waukeens promenade and ALL of Roger the Fence's potions and all of the enchanted armour from the armourers in the promenade.

I've just realised that stealing like this can take a lot of the fun out of the game - makes it too easy

Time to solo my character in pennance methinks.

You get the same effect with SK.... it just take's the kick out of the game... when you do not have to save money for things to buy... you sort of delete a part of the game, making it less fun to play IMHO.

I dunno, when you've run through the game so many times, you just like to mess around...Soloing with a sorc was the hardest thing i ever did, and when i beat it, i reloaded an old game and equipped a char with a crossbow and bolts of metamorphisis...bring on the squirrels

Ah ha! The game has resolved my excess wealth problem.

Bloody mephits in Watchers Keep

To be honest, this should even the game out. It was quite funny when I drew the RUIN card from the deck of many things as well...

So now I am skint, but happy

Bah, it's all crazy talk! SK isn't as bad as you all think especially when you make harder bad guys to kill, and like Miss Blue said, after playing it so many times you just want to mess around.
