And OT........how can you be stuck in Sacred 2 - it's kill, collect and kill some more. Or so my lvl 120 SW seems to find it
I thought I saw you over on the S2 Forum

Was having problems with broken quests, (2 different ones) Was fixated on completing 2 quests that ultimately were not worth the effort. So I moved on.

To the OP: 2 Gig of RAM is really just not enough to run Vista well. (My opionion)

What would you guys say about this?
You will want at least 3GB RAM, but while you're upgrading you may as well make it 4GB. Vista will REALLY SUCK at 2GB RAM.

I'm not sure why I see so many people say you need a minimum of 2 or 3 gig of RAM, I have about 6 vista machines at home, two of which run perfectly on just a gig, at one point even 768mb.

I even game on one of them, its not a high end machine, but unless you are doing graphic design/3D work or large ammounts of multi tasking, the need for 3gig+ is not really all that great.

However it doesn't hurt, and with prices so low, you might as well!

When I was pricing a new system (well mostly new) they quoted me $25 for 2gig of RAM! Wholly camolly!!

When i got my first PC, it cost me $699 for 16 meg. ..and that was my employee discount price!

It does make a big difference... I see much cheaper prices on the 2x1 packs.

Still, it is extremely cheap. I remember the old days of saving up enough money to go from 1MB to 2MB... wasn't cheap (but man, it made a difference!)

Okay... all the old geezers meet over in the corner by the fireplace at Cloudy's. I'm buyin' the first round...
