It's actually a 2 part question:
1) Can my CG Gnome Cleric/Illusionist don the Helm of Opposite Alignment, become LE, and then wear the Robes of the Evil Archmagi? 2) Can I then cast "Remove Curse", take the helmet off (keeping the Evil Robes on), and put on a different helmet? 3) When I import to BG2, all of my stuff would be removed, and my alignment shifted back to CG, wouldn't it? The answer to 1 and 2 is Yes (AFAIK), don't know about 3.

It kinda worked (I just tested it). It works until you rest, when the Robes are put in your inventory.
Oh well.
