On a slightly related note how do you people think Beckham will do at Real Madrid? I'm not convinced he'll do that well myself. He could be back in England soon...

I was really sad to see him go, but I think he will do ok.
I'm not sure how much of a run out he will get, I mean he's up against Figo, and its not about whos better, its about who the manager thinks suits the team better....... Beckhams passing ability, freekicks etc, or Figo's direct approach. I believe Figo will get the nod over Beckham at the start (although IMPO I'd play Beckham), due to the fact Zidane is a playmaker, and do they really need 2?

I agree, I think he's the best in the world.
I just think if they play Beckham AND Zidane, they will lack the attacking force they have now..........

How about figo on left and beckham on right. zidane and mekelele on center? with raul and ronaldo as strike force that is a very good team.
