Hello all!
I have a problem in the 'spire. Having completed everything up to this point I went in the Spire and explored around quite a bit. I got the Serpent Eye crystal and the nightblade and the Dragon crystal that is behind the spider queen. I met kol & Hephaes(sp) briefly and at one point during my wandering noticed I was back near the entrance. Since my assassin had already leveled up once and was ready to again, and a couple other chars had leveled I decided to make a run to town to train. Now when I go back in the Spire, when I get to where the Bronze Beast is, it doesn't breath on me but I can't go past about 1/3 way into the passage. It's like there is an invisible barrier my party just seems to bump against. Oh, also just to see, I stopped in at Town Hall and Barrenhawk still says "the bronze beast is still making the cave entrance dangerous..."
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When you first went in, did you flick the switch in the side coridor to turn it off and retract it to the end of the corridor?

Actually, no I did not. It kept breathing on me as I was running, and chars behind my #1 slot were taking damage so I just kept going around the next corner. Is this a problem? Whaddya think I should do?

Alright, I think everything is okay. I went back in as far as I could go and then cast Vanish. This sent me right up near the beast's head and he started breathing fire again, and lo and behold there was the lever. I pulled and it shut down. So hopefully I can just continue on now. Thanks for the reply.

Hi rap93!!

Sounds like you have the problem solved now!

If you haven't learned CREATE PORTAL, TELEPORT and CALL OF HOME - now would be an excellent time to aim for them. They are most useful for finishing up those few quests for Ishad N'ha that you complete on the far side of the Spire. Creating a Portal on the east side of Brimloch Roon will save you from having to travel through the Spire again.

They become even more useful once you start exploring the areas west of Brimloch Roon.

Good Luck!
