Will they in any way cause my game to screw up? Or cause probs with my puter? Haven't installed any. Was just curious. And can the mods be removed at a later date or will you need to reinstall the games?

No, the mods are quite safe.
I reccomend installing mods who are at WeiDU format. Check the Mod readme to see if it is.
