Anyone know an alternate site to download dark Side of the sword Coast from?.
File Planet via ww.DSOTSC.com sucks ass.

Fileplanet is the only reliable source. I have seen teambg suff on kazaa before, but I cant find any at the moment and anyway, rare files like that tend to go offline partway through.

Got the file in the end after a few retries. It seems to work pretty well and adds a LOT of equipment to the game. Especially for my Paladin.
I suspect it may have unbalanced things a bit though?.

Question Mark

Tried the add-on, but didn't like it. It really makes the Nashkel mines a nasty crawl, I must admit. Paladins seem to be the only ones who really benefit, though.

I played a few games with Dark Side installed and you're right it does unbalance things a bit. There are a lot of new and powerful items (for several classes such as Cleric, Bard, Druid and Paladin) but I thought they came too early in the game. I would have expected to have to wait longer to afford them or find them. The new NPC's are quite interesting too.
I thought it was worthwhile to play it, though I have now de-installed so as to get back to basics.
