Question Mark Writers strike

We've been talking about this a little in the ..Shows/Heroes thread. I have not heard a thing about it some time. Are there any updates? And does anyone know how much these people actually earn.

If you're referring to Heroes, I think it was only 9 episodes.
But I'm wondering more about the strike and what the writers earn than the shows themselves.
