.. .. Yeah I thought about that after I read your email the other day.... Maybe someday you'll try the quick version , but I don't think you could do the Fast Track.

P.S...Has anyone ever gone back to the pyramid, after killing Cet?

I just took my second string back for the fourth tome,( was going to make them all Zenmasters)...the game won't let me leave...It keeps sending me back to the room with the flasks..every time I get to the first room the narrator say's...blah, blah, blah...."the vexing words uttered form the dark lords lips, echo in your mind... 'You will remain here forever'"...then when I take 1 step into the room...Woosh... I'm back in the room of 4 chests.

I have gone back into the pyramid after slaying Cet, and I haven't had that problem. Are you going with the characters who originally slew Cet? That might make a difference.

One possible bypass (that I haven't checked) would be to create a portal next to the exit lever, and then teleport to it. I don't remember if Cet prevents you from teleporting out or not.

1.)..No.. ..my Valkyrie is relaxing back in Valeia. This group needed some advancement, so I took them out to mop up and grab the the 4 tomes...(the only kills in a 'Fast Track Game' are F'lokus Ra, the banshee on the Wizard path, Erathsmedor, the 6 mummy priests and Cet. Noting else dies unless, I can't get around it...Every click..takes a tick .. ..)..It's a long walk to Valeia, but I'll give it a try.

2.)...I've never been able to use 'crearte portatl' or 'teleport' in the pyramid. Even if I could, the game starts me out in the room with 4 chests, when I click the lever.

... ...hmmmmm..Very tempting..and I might just take you up on that..But right now , I'm enjoying the challenge....

Then I have to decide if I like where their stats are going to end up.

Well Wyv,...It's offical..If your playing unpatched on a Win ME system...you can not go back to the pyramid, after killing Cet!

It doesn't matter ,who goes in or what they do....blah,blah,blah..."You will remain here forever "

I decided not to take you up the tome, because I didn't like their stats.(maybe after I play through a few more times.... you can teach me how to do it myself.. ..)

The fact that I killed Erathsmedor and you were still willing to hack it for me, proves one thing...
...You're not only "our Lady of Miracles!"...Your a saint............. ...... O h... A ...oh

Thanks anyway.

Hey Packrat,
I also use winME. I run unpatched untill I have the assassin dagger used, then traded off (cheat). Then I go out save, come back inside goto Inn, remove, exit. I do a back up copy of both the save game, and roster files, to a seperate location. Then I patch and deal with the wind bags. I find the patch has helped fix a couple bugs that are random, and I don't get stuck in floors, or on the trees. Two nightmares that I have had. Being stuck in the floor at toad village, the same place the toad always gets stuck, except I was under water, pretty cool, but very exhausting. Vanish didn't help, nor teleport, they just fizzled, possibly because of the water. The second was tree surfing, came off the Belfry, out the ledge, jumped up and over to the trees, then fell through. Vanish put me in more trees, and stupidly no teleport to go to.

With the patch I have returned to Cets tomb to search and seek, but didn't find anything that hadn't been found before.

So What are some of the other bugs??? Are they anything like the last time I was in the shrine? I was busy fighting all kinds of nasties and before I could get on it, the elevator column went up and got stuck.(Cet was already dead, so it didn't matter.)
I hardly ever get stuck and the few times I have I've always been able to get out... Once I got stuck in the floor in the 'Revolving Room' in the collasium, but I was able to use vanish. So that toad village thing must have been a bad spot.

One other thing, when you say you 'came off the Belfry', do you mean the Belfry in the serpent temple? I thought the only way in or out was in the room with the fourth monkey chest?

The Belfry,
At the top of the bell tower at Shuregon Castle. Go out on the ledge, place a few crates just right, go down the wall a little, turn around, run back up jump, and jump again from the crates. If done okay you should make the ledge of the roof, and be on top of the belfry.

I was unaware of the one at the Snake Temple.

Please do tell.
