If you use this technique, then you can get unlimited money buy buying the Takemotsu (sp?) arrow and then reselling it (in the Bushi Dojo). After two minutes you'll have enough money to do whatever you want. Use your skill points on fire, while you train in Stone every level up. When you get to the serpent temple, join. Use kerielle's potion on Xydusa, you'll have to lure her out, or she'll block the passageway. When you get to Elyssia, drink the nectar, and you'll get 50% poison resistance, plus you still get to kill her. By that time you should have meteorstorm, and can kill xydusa from a distance.

I'd recommend going to bard next, because you can wear good weapons and develop both Fiend and Moon magic (useful for teleport spells). And the best part is that you can train both schools of magic through the temple and magic shoppe while you spend your skill points on other skills.
