i just have a general question on this guy he located east (i think) of port llast, i killed him down to where he goes neutral...and now i figured maybe he's part of some quest, i got these stones in his house, so i didn't kill him, now im wondering if he's part of a quest in port llast.

By the way, that Wanev... I remember one Wanev from BGII:SoA, he was the former Asylum coordinator or such...Also a mage, of considerable power too. But he died.. :sob:
Is his appearance in NWN just a coincidence, or a deliberate ressurection??

maybe this is his earlier days...or is the Neverwinternights plot after the BG series? They don't neccesary have to be, u know...Icewind was before BG eventhough the game was later than BG.

His appearance in NWN is probably not coincidence. I noticed it too

*shrugs. I've been told that Bioware picks up names for NPC's on the Bioware boards (names of members). Perhaps they've used the same name twice. It wouldn't suprise me. If this was some easter egg, there would have been more clues....

They do that with a few characters I've heard (and in some cases noticed but I can't think of too many right now)
