Every time that you start a new game and go thru the wizards fire pit. When you get to the spectral warrior a different item drops when you kill him. Sometimes it is samurai armor, magician robe, oomphaz war leather, etc. Most of the time it is a just the sword. Did anyone else get something different?

You'll find this for all the caracters that you wack... Some of the items will always be the same. However, most of the time, it's random but of almost equal value.

Yes...sometimes you can get really good items there. Have you tried saving prior to the battle and reloading to see if anything new drops?

Also...My rogue has been able to "pick" things off the Spectral Warrior that he won't drop. Quite an argument for developing pickpocket soon on!

I tried the reloading and see what else drop bit. He dropped the same thing each time that I reloaded. The save game was prior to my dropping down the hole and tapping him on the head a few times. I might try saving the game prior to running the wizard fire pit just to see if the same thing happens or not. I will probably try this tommorrow. Will let you know what happens.

Just two words! Didn't work. Same stuff kept coming up. It probably has something to do with the start of the crypt.
