Planar Sphere

The quest available after you beat the Planar sphere as a mage, the one with the three apprenti. Does anyone know what iteams you are to allow them to make to allow them to survive through the tests w/o them exploding?

First of all, welcome to the forum [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img]

There is always a random chance of your apprentices blowing up no matter what item they are making. For the 1st item, if you make the ring Larz WILL die. For the scrolls, if you pick meteor storm, Nara WILL die. FOr the 3rd one tell them to build nothing. SO avoid making the ring, meteor storm scroll and any of the 3rd items.

A trick to tell if if they will succeed or not:
You can tell if they are going to succeed in
their tasks, if when they tell you how long it
will take they say it will take a "few days".
If they say "few days" then they will succeed,
if they say "4 days" then they will fail. (this
works for the final choice as well)

Well, personally i always chose the dagger of ~charname~, then the scroll of mislead, and then the ring of wizardry. This ALWAYS leaves me with only marul(sp?) alive, but i get the best ring a mage/sorcerer can have, so i don't care [img]smile.gif[/img] Chosing the easy options early on means that all my apprentices are alive to make me that ring. Generally, you can chose the middle option and keep then alive as well.

EDIT] Changed so as you can see ~charname~ (used <> before)

Thanx for the welcome, and for the help. I know that you could make it through w/o killing any of your mages, getting the most experience, but I didn't know which ones triggered it for sure.

Nothing, except that if all survives, Marul will after some time come back to you, and make you some quite good potions. This won't happen if some of them died.

Whats the best ring a sroc could have??and doesmorul make it?

mages and sorcs can all use the same equipment, so the ring of spiffy wizardry is the best sorc ring too, with the ring of acuity being in there too
