And on-topic, I find the whole not-knowing-about-the-Iron-Curtain much more frightening than some of the other stuff. Heck, my dad always tells me about the good ole days, and the Iron Curtain is hardly ancient history compared to that stuff.

Sneaky trick: Write it once, copy/paste. Copy paste again, and again. You now should get eight of 'em at a shot, and should be able to get up to 100 in about 4 more copy/pastes

I actually used the copy/paste trick to reach one-hundred. One becomes two, two becomes four, four becomes eight, eight becomes sixteen...
Before I knew it I had closer to one-thousand than one-hundred, which I thought was pretty cool until I realized I had spelled twhackya instead of whackya....lol.

LOL! That's when a quick copy into wordpad / replace thwackya/whackya / recopy back becomes helpful
Glad to see you weren't doing it all manually

That made me laugh!
that was great, i was born in 1987 and the only thing i didn't know was: who Mork was and "I'd walk a mile for a Camel or de" But apart from the "sweeping genralisations" i really liked it. (contributing to the 100 ) EDIT: but being born in 1987 prevents me from spelling "born" correctly" [ 12-05-2004, 08:28 AM: Message edited by: Intrepid ] |

Heheh, I enjoyed those.
They only recently changed our curriculum at my school to the Cold War. Believe me, it's better than what we learned last year...I love it. And the Cold War ended in my lifetime, so...pretty recent, yeah. I was born in 1987. |
