'Christmas World Event' for EFU coming soon!
As with tradition this year--Easter, Halloween and now Christmas, EFU will have the Yawning Portal all decked out as usual for the Christmas, but this year, you can expect not one, but two pretty detailed quests! I was hoping the next Massive hakpak patch would have been finished before this came up, but no big deal (I wanted to make a Santa NPC).. I can just make red armor I guess..
Anyway, The NPC will be a Santa looking, and sitting in a chair (with kids in line to visit him) next to a Christmas tree with presents under the tree . (those can only be opened Dec 23-28th) Remember we did this the last two years? New items will be added too! You get three presents per server reset. The quest should be neat, and have a holiday feel to it. (Delivering Presents to kids is one quest) I should have the quests ready sometime tomorrow or Friday--as long as everything goes smoothly or at least, semi-smoothly lol.... Also, the Hallows Eve Greeter's Quest WILL be staying. I got some PM's saying it was cool and I should keep it. I will indeed, BUT, I will have to move the quest to another NPC... Maybe a NEW NPC for the Tavern eh? Keep an eye out for them! (The quest will be reworked a tiny bit, and new loot will be added--the current rewards will maybe be moved to level 14 or 15. I'll post the second the new update is live! Happy Holidays guys!!

Yes. Happy holidays to all.
Been working through Storm of Zehir (irritating game) so I haven't been in as much as I would like lately. Looking forward to even more goodies over Christmas now. If we deliver presents do we get a mince pie and brandy for each one one? |

Been doing Holiday stuff with the Family, so it took some time away from finishing the new Holiday Quest--I'm back at it again today though!
Then back to the other Content and the patch after the new levels are open (and Dragonkin Halls).

Ung is happy, he got a key and a new Mace of Fire (he wanted a spare sooo bad, so he is now a very happy kobold). He is a bit miffed because he also got a Greataxe about a foot taller than he is but that's now safely stashed inside his (t.a.r.d.i.s.) loincloth for future trading opportunities
Only got two pressies for the one reset, and the Greeter is there but Father Winter is still absent - but, hells, you can't have everything, hey. And then I suffered a game crash - grrr! Happy holidays, everyone!

I am happy to be getting back into activity on the server and will be diving him hopefully tonight for some messing around...especially if there be presents!
Actually, I was already in there the other day shaking some of the gifts to see if I could figure out what was in them...and I messed with the kids a bit. Trying to make them cry and drop out of line so I could take their place.

A TARDIS loincloth for Ung? That is just... terrifying. As for the Santa NPC, red and white armor on a half-orc male body with the large phenotype ought to be good enough. He could always be wearing that mask that looks like a face, even if there'd be no beard for him. After all, no two Santa Claus need to look the same, and a quest could be generated to find Santa's beard, stolen by those nasty duergar somewhere on Level Two...
