Terrible news. I remember bushfire season back in 2001 or 2002 I think it was - Canberra nearly burned down.
Meanwhile here in Boston, the temperature dipped to below 32 F (0 C) for the first time during the day (as opposed to at night). |

Yep, I saw them when I was coming home from work, and I am on standby just in case they need a hand tonight so it could be interesting.
For the most part now though, the fire is under control, but the winds today and tomorrow are horrible so we cant make any predictions. |

Yeah being at the foot of the mountains its been a bit smokey the last few days. I've gone through and cleaned everything up (gutters, gardens, lawn clippings) as as soon as I saw a burnt leaf on my front lawn.
Preparing for a long summer especially as we have bush land behind the estate I live in.
