I met a nice girl not too long ago and we've been talking for a while. We've both brought smiles to each other's faces many times since then.
That is a great joy to me.

Very nice posts all. It can cheer you up in no time.
Thanks a lot for sharing. My turn to share something now. Next to where I live is a little zoo. A very old zoo, build in 1901 or so. I m usually not that fond of zoos, all these animals in cage can be depressing. But this one has something magic. It's small, it's old, it's beautiful and the animals seem well treated. Everytime I can I go there and spend hours in it. But I will always spend the half of it near the monkeys. Because here lives Jon (well I called him Jon, don't know why). Jon is a little monkey. The first time i saw him he was still a baby, he was so cute ! He was also like a tornado, running like mad, jumping, fighting with others (even if they were 3 times bigger). I immediatly liked this fearless little monkey. It has been more than 3 years now. I go to this zoo as often as I can and I just watch Jon playing. It's always a fun and relaxing moment. I just stand there, watching to this little monkey and thinking of nothing else; makes all my stress go away and always put a big smile on my face. I saw Jon growing up along the years, but he is still the same, always running/jumping/climbing. 2 weeks ago, I took my 2 little sis and my little bro to this zoo. I introduced Jon to them and started my ritual watch of him. My lil sis and bro got bored fast and started running everywhere. I had to run after them. I started to laugh with them, play with them, tickle them a little. All this in front of the monkey cage. And believe me or not, but at this moment, Jon stopped playing and started watching at me ! Everytime i think of it I have a big silly smile on my face 100% Joy ! Oooh and this morning, my GF called me at 8am just to tell me again how much she loved me. 101% Joy ! Sometimes life is just great

Masklinn - Has anybody told you what a great idea this thread was? Great job.
What makes me smile quicker than anything are my children and my wife. I honostly believe that the giggling laugh of an infant is the most pleasurable sound in the entire world. When my little one laughs out loud, all my worries melt away. I also enjoy hugs and kisses from my two older boys. The middle one looks like a little angel (blonde hair and blue eyes), but more often acts like a little devil. Still, when he stops what he's doing to give me a hug and say "I love you", I feel as if my heart will burst with joy. The same for my oldest son, although he is much calmer than his younger brother. The joy on their faces when we first see each other at the end of the day is surely mirrored and reflected threefold on my own. And a quick hug, a gentle squeeze on the hand, or just a warm smile from my wife (my soulmate) can cheer me to the very depths of my soul. Aside from these experiences, the one thing I enjoy the most is the deep, rumbling purrrrrrrrrr from a contented cat. While the laughter of my children is the most enjoyable sound I know, the throaty purr of a cat is - by far - the most soothing. I once had a large Maine Coon with gray and black stripes. He would lay on my chest and nuzzle his head up under my chin. He would purr so loudly that my wife could hear him on the other side of the room - and the vibrations would roll from his chest through mine. That was one of the most relaxing feelings I've ever known.

I have been able to wake up everyday at 9-10am due to the fact I had no school at my vocational school. My vocational school was also closed today due to snow And, tomorrow I once again I have no vocational school. Just feels nice and relaxed to be fully charged for school. I've also completed a lot of electronics and wiring for my robotics club's robot we are building. This is a big relief for me cause we have to ship the darn thing in 2 weeks instead of the esitmated 4 weeks we were told before hand. And also our budget was cut due to a sponsor pulling out at the last minute. I will be finally buying a new car soon and that means I can get around again. So, everything is looking good. Great Thread.
