Help on Watcher`s Keep...

I`m trying to get down to the second level.
I`ve done the ritual to the letter according to the parchments; I helped the archavist and the priest, i`ve killed all of the Statues on the level; and yet, for some reason, it says "The Statues guarding the portal are somehow preventing you from entering it". [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img]

I *have* fully patched the game.

I can't see what the problem is there, but I'll go through slowly what you must do.

1. Light the fire in the kitchen with the Tinderbox, so the Archavist tells you about the Priest
2. Find the wardstones that opens the door to the Lich-Priest, as well as his old slippers.
3. Open the door to the Priest, talk to him, give him the slippers, and then search his coffin to find out where in the Holy Book you must read for the ritual
4. Find the Candle and the Bell, and place these on the altar
5. Finish the Ritual by first ringing the Bell, then ringing the Bell again, then light the Candle, then read from the Book, and then Ring the Bell again
6. Finish off all the statues, and then you should be able to go down there

Done all that. There isn`t one thing left alive on the level other than my party and the Guardian Golems (unless you consider a lich and a ghost to be 'alive' that is

).
Yet, it says the statues are stopping me from going down. [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img]

EDIT: Does the Order matter ?? Because I found the lich before I helped the archavist...

I had this problem once also. I was luring the statues into a room so I could manage the fight better and one got stuck behind a door. I had to reload and make sure all the statues were dead.

Try casting detect evil and see if it tells you a statue is still on the level somewhere.

I had the same problem happen to me and I looked all over to see if there was any statues left. What I had to end up doing was going back to the last saved game before entering the watchers keep and doing the whole ritual all over again.
