How I'd have laughed if they'd have let Seaman take a penalty...

Keep your head up Donut, England made a good impression this WC, but today they somehow lacked confidence. This team is still young, the future looks bright for England. Your time will come, i'm sure.

Commiserations, mate - they'll be better in 2006.

I won't say any more because I might be blamed for being facetious.

He's probably hanging himself in the barn as we speak.

Come back, Donut

Oh well I've been out on the piss all night, alas I MISSED THE FECKING MATCH because I had to work - I saw the first 20 minutes then popped into a pub just in time to catch the first Brazilian goal on my way to the tube.
I knew the outcome when I got to work and everyone had long faces.

Weird though, going to work the tube was like the fecking Marie Celeste - normally I am squeezed in with 2000 people per carriage (or it seems that many anyway) and this morning it was about 4 or 5 people per carriage and I got a seat. I'd rather have been in the pub though, I will make my boss pay for making me miss that game - but I'll wait. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

overhere it was total silence as well, i know most Dutch footballfans were on England's side. That alone is pretty unusual. After the game the streets got full with people like any normal day, exept people were all kinda grumpy. Can you believe that ? Almost all of Holland were rooting for England, we must be a sick nation !
