Hey guys...I'm not well today

Woke up at 5am with a terrible headache, and I couldn't go downstairs to get headache tablets without waking everyone, so I just lay there...for two hours! It neared 7am (the time everyone usually gets up) and I was (finally) sick. As expected my headache went when I was sick, but it was still there bit. So I got some tablets, and went to bed for the next four hours

I was wondering if anyone get's a kind of pressure rash on their face when they vomit? It's not dangerous, but when I'm sick I get a pinky rash all over my face and neck. My parents don't know anyone else who gets this, so I was wondering if any of you out there get it.

I think it's an anti-fake-to-stay-off-school trick

I just found out I might be able to stay off tomorrow. This pressure rash thing is alright, I feel totally fine, but I don't have to go to school if I look ridiculous!

Three day for me But I'm going to the opticians Friday afternoon so it's really 2.5

*sigh* I don't want to get glasses - I need them, I know that, but I don't want them, I'll look ridiculous. I've asked for contact lenses with a "We'll see" reply from the mother, which means no

Just keep begging, and if that doesn't work, throw a temper tantrum. That'll get her movin'.

I have an aunt who is blind in one eye from getting some disease from her contacts. Don't mean to scare you or anything. I'm guessing you're in your mid teens, about how old i was when I got glasses. If you're anything like me your eyes will get progressively worse over the next couple of years. Thats something the opticians don't tell you cos they want you to buy coated lenses, which will have to be chucked in 6 months. Everyone looks rediculous in glasses for a couple of months, but after that you'll begin to look a bit odd without them. People don't even regognise me with just two eyes now...

Yup, I'm 16 in November. The bad eyesight just came on, I can't remember having trouble reading the board in Year 9, but Year 10 and Year 11 (I'm in Year 11 now) some lessons, mostly Science where good handwriting isn't something the teachers know, I can't read it.

I won't look right with glasses though, and I'll be getting Daily contacts if anything (so less chance of getting an infection - from the container thing to my eye to the bin...right?)

Perhaps when I can drive I'll wear glasses, but if I got glasses only and no contacts I wouldn't wear them at school - no way, but that's teenagers for you!
