"Oh, am I supposed to get dressed now?" ~ Her cheeks flush, and she hurries back into the room, slamming it shut and locking it. With shaking hands, she begins to peel off her cloak and robes and puts on her ivory-toned wedding dress.

Patting her hair in place, she drapes the spidery web-like veil over her face, hoping that everything is in place.

Am I supposed to just walk out like that, or should I wait for someone to knock at my door?... ~ Her brow creases and she decides to wait...

"I ...uhhh...well...How do I look?"

Larry does a turn-a-round for Deiter to see his attire.

"I am a bit nervous, you know..."

"Is Mistral ok? Who is helping her? Oh,...I wish Kaz were here. When do we start? Am I supposed to go first???"

Larry begins to hyper-ventilate

"Calm down Larry." He looked over at the room Mistral was in, then back at Larry. "You want me to knock and see if shes doing ok, or ready to start?"

Even on my wedding day, I am still independent... oh, Father and Mother, give me courage to face this big event of my life... ~ She clasps and unclasps her fingers ~ I am going to belong to Larry soon after this... I'm afraid... who can I turn to if things go wrong?... ~

She begins to tremble, her heartbeat increasing by the second ~ Please... let this go right... ~

Being relieved that Deiter was here for him, Larry smiled and said...

"Yes, could you see if she is ok, and ready?
And then tell me when I am supposed to do my thing!"

"I'll be right back." He went over to the room Mistral was in and knocked on the door. "Mistral, its Deiter. We wanted to know if you're ready to start."

Alone again, Larry takes one final look at himself in the mirror. This was going to be the most important day of his life, and it would mean growing up, and not being so childish.
What kind of man would Mistral want in him? What were her standards? What did she expect him to accomplish? Larry could feel his insides just twisting about.

At the sound of Deiter's voice, real panic sinks in.

"Erm... just a second, Deiter..." ~ She stammers, hurriedly checking out whether the folds of her dress are properly in place. ~ Thank goodness I didn't get those puffy sleeves; I wouldn't know what to do with them. ~ She peers at her matching pair of heels and smiles wryly ~ I bet this is the only time I'll be wearing these in my life... ~ She giggles nervously ~

Finally, she raises both hands and adjusts the alignment of her dress and takes a deep breath, acutely aware of the churning in her stomach, the thundering pulse running through her body and the drying of her throat ~ I must go... they are waiting... ~

With shaky hands, she unlocks the door and turns the knob. Opening the door, she faces Deiter, shivering slightly ~ "I.... I'm.... I'm... r...ready." ~
