Im wanting to play a healer type in NWN just because I think theyll be
usefull in the game, what would anyone suggest, I'm torn between elven female Druid, male elf dual cleric-monk, Human Cleric, and male half elf mage/cleric whats better, and who do you think would be the most ballanced, most offensive and most deffencive, druids dont have any raise dead type spells even at high levels right? thanks |

The Cleric's spontaneous casting ability definately makes it the Ace at healing.
Multi-classing him can bring about both disadvatages and advantages. On the one hand you'll gain arcane spells to augment your offesnsive capabilities, but depending on how many mage levels you take you could be seriously lowering the max power of your cleric class. |

You still have about 6 months to think about it
But i think if you want to be a Healer you'd best be a Cleric becoz a Druid is more offencive ------------------ The Legend Rikard T'Aranaxz Master Necromancer Clanmaster and Mental Father of the OHF |

Best Healer : cleric with healing domain.
If you multi-class with a monk, dont forget that once you've left the monk class, you can't go back. If you multi-class with arcane spell user, you will loose the benefit of the cleric's armor (if you want to cast arcane spells with somatic component). |

The multi-class Elf cleric-monk has another drawback :
the prefered class for elf is the wizard, so this conbinaison will have a 20% penalty on earned xps because you can't keep the one level gap between these two classes. If you realy want a cleric-monk, let it be human (humans choose their prefered class)... |

Yeah. Druids are good for combat/summoning. Clerics can repel/rebuke undead and trade any spell for a healing spell when needed (so there's no need to memorise them to start with). Also, clerics of war gods can use all martial weapons (they got rid of that stupid blunt weapons rule at last)
