Magik, I am not an accountant, but I play one on TV. Seriously, I have studied it some and spent 1.5 years fixing other people's accounting problems. Also, Belle is only 1 year away from an accounting degree (if she would finish her schooling, like I keep telling her to do). What kinds of difficulties are you having?
What I could use is a simple road map. That starts at the basic T account info, to the General Journal all the way out to the closed account form basicly a map that shows, make this form/chart, then this one, then the next in the order of precidence from the beginning of the accounting cycle to the end. Also a way to remember which accounts carry debit balances as normals and which accounts carry credit balances as a norm. I do know that in general on the asset side of the equation you have debit balances and on the liability and owner equity side you usually have credit balances, but there are exceptions to that rule and Im not clear on how to remember the exception.....gads I hate this stuff. was any of that intelligable? |

LOL, I've got absolutely no accounting expertise. I can get a piece of wood out of your eye, though, like I just did. As usual, I couldn't resist the "cast out the beam that is thine eye" quote.

Hey Cloudy, you've REALLY offended me.
How the hell can you assume that I do not know how to clean my own skirts? Just what kind of maniac are you?!? Hm, yeah, it does seem a bit slow here today. Oh well, things'll pick up (probably when I'm not on!)

Make sure all the "ghost poop" (dust) is off of it! I completely removed all of my former installation with ToB and Ascension, etc., backed up my old save games, and I'm now back to the basic SoA installation + patches. We should be good to go. Cheers, -Saz
