Is anyone else having problems with the local map?
Sometimes, after performing or even after re-loading a quick save, the local map stops revealing any new area I have covered, and all I get to see is the "my position" arrowhead on a black background. Haven't found any way of restoring proper function to the local map, unless I re-load an old save. I have a vanilla installation of Morrowind and Tribunal installed, ( no add-ins or extras )

That happens to me too when I'm walking around in the wilderness. Don't know what causes it.

A possible solution found !! Using the menu map, ( by clicking on the top right to make it stay open after you get rid of the other menu windows ) instead of the mini map at the lower right of the screen, seems to fix the problem !! Pang.

When you recall to somewhere, the game gets a bit confused: it will think of your current position as the one where you casted recall. Maybe it affects the map as well?

It was only after saving, or loading from, a quicksave, that the map problem happened to me.
