In BG, the spinning time indicator on the screen tells you how soon (relatively) sunup/sundown are. Is there any way to tell this in IWD2??? I could count "Day 1/ Hour 2" information, but unless my boat arrived in Targos at 12:00 midnight, that doesn't help. So, any info? It would help me plan my rests.

There's a spinning globe in the lower right corner of the screen that performs this same function. Simply move the cursor over this spinning globe and you should get the "Day X, Hour Y" info you're looking for.

Right, Magness, but that only helps me if I know what time of day "Day 1 Hour 0" occurred at. As I said, that info is useless unless I showed up in Targos at midnight. Which, I know I didn't, because it wasn't dark.

My experience is that the Day/Hour clock matches the time of day. That is, Day X, hour 0 should be midnight. I have noticed that the game doesn't make it very dark at night. Also, IIRC, the game runs "night" from about 9pm to 6am (hour 21 to hour 6).

Yep, hour 21. I noticed this weekend. Really far-fetched. Dark in the frozen north would more likely last from 5pm until 6am.
