hmm.. wait.. the story was kinda long so i got lost track there for the moment..
so lets see here, he found out that guy is a scammer so he is scamming him with the laptop . but i dont understand with the transactions of his supposidly "ebay transfer" website. how did that work. did the scammer just pay the shipping cost?

He found out the scammer was using a bogus site to "handle" the transaction, which means IF he shipped the genuine Powerbook he will not be getting any payment. His revenge was to send a bogus Apple Powerbook which was declared at a high value. As the scammer was expecting to receive the genuine thing, he/she paid for the taxes, which comes out to about US 2K. Then the scammer discovered that he/she has paid taxes for a plastic ring binder labeled as Apple P-P-P-Powerbook. Absolutely hilarious!
