Ground up pepper, you toss it into their eyes, then kill them with their own weapon.

Just don't fight blind guys.

With my limited creativity, I will give it a try

1. A double barreled energy based assault rifle
2. Badass BroomStick
3. Unlimited Ammo, 2x damage vs undead, alternate fire stuns humanoid foes.

It depends if the character is a brutish fighter or an agile thief, assassin or whatever. If brute, give him a flanged mace, else give him a katana, for it is the coolest melee weapon ever created. After the lightsaber, ofcourse.

Why not a classic?

My personal favorite. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present...........

The B.F.G.-2000!!!!!!!!!!

It slices, it dices, it purees, and it instantly char-broils! All at once, to everything in front of you! Yes sir! If it's portable quick Beelzebub class cooking power you're looking for, try the B.F.G.-2000!!!!!!!!

The fine print.................

Nuclear power cells and big, ugly, marine to weild it not included.

*sigh* do I once again have to go into anti-asian glorification mode? Damn hollywood, butchering the western blade... anywho, he still hasn't given us anything concerning the nature of the manga nor character.

For a firearm, I always liked Harrison Ford's pistol in Blade Runner.

Yes, blades are cool
BUT
firearms are effective and can be cool
So if you give me any weapon (existing of course, and I assume we're talking handcarried)
I'd choose - depending on the situation -
 • Walther PPK
 • FN-P90
 • Glock 18 (or maybe a Beretta 93R)
 • a CAWS or a Jackhammer
 • StG77 (a.k.a. Steyr AUG)
 • Barret M82
For the highest versatility I recommend the P90 however
