Too much of Aerie

I started a new game using a FEMALE paladin. As such, I decided to be nice and supportive to everyone on the team. I had placed the mod which allows romance for all races (and, I guess, genders) in the override folder. Aerie decided to make her move. Either my character is unbelievable in the sack, Aerie is insatiable, Aerie is kinky, or I've run into a bug.

Unless I tell Aerie to get lost, I run into a persistant and recurrent loop of the "rest" sequence, Aerie making her offer, the rest sequence, the offer, . . . . If I finally tell Aerie I'm not interested (several days into the loop), the loop will stop (Aerie will sleep alone forever!), and the game can proceed.

While it might be interesting to see where this alternative lifestyle goes, I'd like to finish the game. Has anyone else run into this situation? Any suggestions other than to tell Aerie to take a hike?

Oh come on! Seriously, how many times in the game do NPC's offer to sleep with you!? You're lucky, lol!

IIRC aeries romance dies if you sleep with her first time - to get it to continue you have to say no (Women are strange and mysterious creatures in R/L as well, just deal with it, OK).

Of course if ive gotten it totally wrong then you might have to CLUA or Shadowkeep the relevent lovetalk variable up by one. See if you can find a walkthrough on the aerie romance, itll tell you which way you have to go.

No the Aerie romance is not ruined for sure if you sleep with her.It depends on what you say when you awake.

I hope I have the same luck. I dumped Minsc just so she woudl not become his witch. So far she has offered to cool my brow but got kinda up tight when i changed into a "monster" I hope that does nt put her permantly off me. FYI I too ama female palidin and Aerie sure beats Anomen in fact Bodhi beats Anomen hands down too.

Sorry lanthir but when Minsc takes Aerie as his witch it doesn't stop the romance, it just makes minsc say "I must protect my witch!!!!" when Aerie goes to 10% health and he goes beserk when she dies and screams "NOOOO Aerie". So what you did is lose a really great NPC (second only to korgan and SPOILER sarevok)

I didn't know that, I thought he was trying to take my girl away. Oh so sorry Minsc.
