Thanks, Davros! Well, it is a large-sized car which I'm very glad of, and it doesn't guzzle gasoline that badly (which is a major concern right now, since the gas prices are so high around here). It's in relatively good condition, but it does need new tires.
My main concern now is disposing of the current piece of cr** I have (as mentioned above). I'm trying to decide whether I want to place an ad and sell it on my own, or just dump it at a used car lot and take whatever they want to give me for it. I'm leaning towards the latter option, as I really don't want to take too much trouble with it, but if I could get more for it in an ad, I may want to go that route. Anyway, I'll let you know when I actually get the car...just 2 more days. Cheers, |

I would recommend for you to take pics of the car and its engine. Make posters of it... with: "19xx brand car with (automatic or manual shift) AS IS: does not run but can be used for parts asking price: (insert quote here)" got a link here somewhere.... just a sec... to add: Ok SAZ check your email [This message has been edited by adam warlock (edited 06-20-2001).] |

I'm going to have to wait until I get home from work, but I am going to follow up on this link. Being that this is a Caddy, it may be worth more, for the parts if nothing else. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again! Davros: you're on, mate! Next time come through D/FW! And yes, Texas IS that big. About 1000 miles (1600 km) from one end of the state to the other. Cheers, |

Congrats!
However, if anyone wants to buy a 1995 Acura Integra or a 1996 Chevy Blazer, I know where you can buy 'em! (yes, from me!) ------------------ Gaelic |

Hmmm, just doing some research for this road trip Saz - a search of the web to see which of our states is bigger Texas or West Australia (all girl readers now sniff and say "huh, it's a guy thing, comparing size again ). Anyway, I got something like 267,000 sq miles for texas (land and water) and doing a rough conversion to kilometers (ie multiply by 81/25) I get something like 900,000 sq km. Looking up West Australia area (land and sea) the web link says just over 2,500,000 sq km (I think we cheat a little though because we have so much coastline ).
