just as a passing note... the first time I encountered a random jungle lily on the enchanted isle, it was about 3 AM, I was wide awake and jittery in that over-tired sort of way, I was running to get to the far end of the island to cross to the shrine, I turned a corner, ran right into one... SCREAMED MY HEAD OFF, fell backwards out of my chair, woke my wife (who let me have it!), and spent the next half hour nursing a strong drink and trying to get my heart rate to approach normal.
After that, even the shrine snakes didn't startle me as much (okay, they did actually) (every @#$%^& time!) Moral: don't play all-nighters without a sedative.
