I know you can just buy ingredients but I like to collect my own, nothing like coming back from a mission with a bag full of leaves and mushrooms . Anyway I'm wondering what creatures/plants/etc you get sload soap from, and bloat. Also, where is a good place to get coda flowers from?

Also, I asked this on another alchemy thread but it was quite a long thread and not mine so obviously my question wasn't noticed. Anyway, if a potion has a negative side effect because it hasn't been alembified or calcinated or whatever piece of equipment controls negative effects, does it show up in the potion information? Like, obviously if I make a potion and there are two drain strength effects that will show up, but if one ingredient has a negative effect and my equipment doesn't get rid of it, will it show up, or will I only find out when I drink the potion?

Thanks, that was helpful. Clearly I can't find any sload soap because it is manmade!

However, it didn't answer where I can find coda flowers (not what plant are they on, but what region they're prolific in), nor my second question [img]smile.gif[/img]

For Coda Flowers, go to the Bitter Coast. They only grow in those mucky green pools there.

I don't know about negative effects that aren't listed though. Never experienced any in my own homebrewed potions. But usually I only start making potions when I already have a full set of Master's apparatus, so maybe you can get that sort of thing with lesser equipment. I wouldn't worry about it too much though.
