Just got earthworm jim for the computer (the old version-win 95) and it starts perfectly until the loading screen dissapears and the game actually starts then an error comes up saying that "dispdib.dll cannot be found". Ive changed colors to 256 "for best performance" and changed resolution, icase any of these were the problem but still nothing changes. Im running winxp home on FAT32.

Can someone tell what dispdib.ddl does,
And where could i get it.(if i need it)

Try out this link Here.

From what I know, the old game you are trying to run seemed to be incompatible with WinXp.

Another search result from google yield this result

I think it is safe to assume that the file you are looking for is a old dll file associated with Win95. I don't think it is compatible with WinXP but you are welcome to give it a try (~at you own risk~)

Lennons computer (I'm guessing thats the one you'r talking about) is win98 upgraded to winME upgraded to winXPpro (winME may have been XPhome, it was a while ago that we were talking about it). Anyway, its an upgrade which would explain why older files are still around on it. And if its another computer, its probably also an upgrade.

Well both computers started with win98 then upgraded to winME then upgraded to xp home. But lennons mums computer has been upgraded to xp pro, but that is the only difference. And that would not explain why his mums computer is able to run it while his doesnt, Unless xp pro uses Dispdib.dll.
