Do you ever make a (what you think) is an insightfull clever and well thought out post, and when you check the thread the next day it's on page five and your (what you thought was a) great post is the last one.

Do you ever take all day at work to think about a clever thread to post and it get 2 posts (including one that says that it probably belongs in another forum) before sinking into the sea of oblivion...

Do you ever find you self upping your own threads... after you post in them yourself.

If you said yes to any of those then you are a threadslayer, the scourge of the forums...

(By the way, does anyone realise the irony if this thread got no response? )

Ah, dammit... I posted. I really wanted this to get no replies for you, Jorath, I'm sorry. I do know precisely what you mean though - it seems to me that the harder you think about a thread and the more substance it appears to have, the less people post in it, and the quick, five-second what's-your-name? type threads get hundreds of replies. Oh well, I like you so I always try and make at least one post in your threads

er right... I think... this is kinda... a weird topic... what do you mean by threadslayer? surely, if you want to 'slay a threat', you simply ignore it, and get others to as well... or post new ones. now Im confused...

Thread slayer is someone who posts in a thread and his post is the one that kills the thread, this is a joke thread (not very good even... ), I'm sorry I confused you

he's referring to members that simply stop a thread - either getting it locked or other swon't post after

I got the Fluffy war locked - that is my claim to fame
